‘STUDIO POLICY’ 2024 : Philips School of Music
We request that all students and their parents review this Studio Policy to ensure a thorough understanding of our expectations. While we understand that unforeseen events may arise, we maintain that this Studio Policy will serve as our primary guide for instruction.
We are committed to providing exceptional quality music education and welcome any questions or concerns regarding our Studio Policy.

Please read the studio policy carefully to find answers for the above common questions of a parent/student.
MISSED CLASSES POLICY
CLASS CANCELLATION : If you need to cancel or reschedule a lesson, we kindly request that you provide us with a minimum of 24 hours' notice. This allows us to better manage teacher’s time and accommodate the needs of all our students in an efficient manner.
CLASSES ALLOTMENT : Each student is allotted 24 classes per quarter (3 months), and we request that all students complete these 24 classes within the specified time frame of 3 months or 92 days.
MAXIMUM CANCELLATION : Each student is allowed to cancel a maximum of 4 classes per quarter. If a student cancels more than four classes, the missed lessons will be forfeited and will not be rescheduled or refunded.
NO EXTENSION : NO extension will be provided beyond 3 months to compensate for missed classes. We kindly request that parents and students understand and cooperate with the management in this matter. NO DISCUSSIONS or ARGUMENTS will be entertained.
LONG BREAK / PAUSE : If a student needs to take a break for a month or more, we will offer an extension for the course equal to the gap or break period. This means that the student will have the same number of remaining lessons when they return from the break as they had before the break. Long break is allowed twice in a year, and break should NOT be more than 3 months, if it is more than 3 months, admission will be canceled, and NO refunds or adjustments made.
TIME SLOTS AFTER BREAK : If a student takes a long break, the time-slots will be released to other students, When the student resumes classes, new slots will be provided if the previous slots are not available, if the student find a suitable slot, we can try another teacher, after all the efforts, if the student cant accept the time slots available, NO refunds or adjustments will be made.
TEACHER ON LEAVE : If a teacher needs to cancel a lesson, we will provide an alternative teacher, if an alternative teacher is not available we will offer a make-up lesson at a mutually convenient time.
DROP OFF/ PICK UP : We would like to remind you that it is mandatory for all students to be dropped off and picked up inside the school lobby. We strongly discourage parents from asking their children to come out to the vehicles parked outside, as the school cannot be held responsible for any untoward incidents that may occur in such cases.
Fees collected will not be refunded. Students who withdraw from the School / Academy during the term will not be given Refund. The fees will be forfeited and is non-refundable and non-transferable.
Philips School of Music reserves the right to cancel any admission due to insufficient enrolment. Philips School is not responsible for any expenses incurred by the Parent / Guardian / Student if the admission is cancelled.
Acceptance of this Refund Policy
It is your responsibility to familiarize yourself with this refund policy. By paying any Fees via online or offline, you indicate that you have read this refund policy and that you agree with and fully accept the terms of this refund policy.
If you do not agree with or fully accept the terms of this refund policy, we ask that you do not pay us the Fees.
