The recital concert can be seen as the most important event in a musician's career. The idea behind this performance is to give the audience an idea of what they will be able to hear if they attend one of the artist's future concerts. This way, they will have a better understanding of what it would be like to go see them perform live.

Piano recitals provide a tangible goal to work towards. In having a set date and a pre-planned performance selection, your child learns how to manage their practice time and what it feels like to polish and perfect a piece of music.

Recitals are an excellent opportunity to express genuine and heart-felt praise, Bring on the photos and videos and big hugs and flushed-face smiles. Clap enthusiastically. Let your child know just how much you recognize their efforts and watch their commitment to music lessons soar.
